How to Get Paid for Clipping with AI

Pick a campaign that already pays, let AI cut the clips, post them, get paid per 1,000 views. Follow the steps in order.

Pick a Whop campaign→Connect Higgsfield to Claude→Generate the clips→Post & get paid

Step 3 is where the clips actually get cut. You will need an account:

Read Step 1 first. It is the one most people get wrong, and it is the difference between getting paid and getting a copyright strike.

I am building this in public: every new video made with this exact workflow, what it earned, and what I would do differently. Come along for the next one.

Step 1 · do this first

Pick the campaign first

This is backwards from what most tutorials tell you, and it matters. You pick a campaign that is already paying, and clip only the source material that campaign allows. Clipping someone who never authorized it gets your submission rejected and your social account struck for copyright.

The one mechanic you have to understand

The budget is pooled per campaign, not per clipper, and it is first come, first served. When the pool is empty the campaign stops paying, no matter how many views your clip keeps racking up. This is behind almost every complaint you will read about clipping.

What follows from that: get in early on fresh campaigns, spread your clips across several campaigns, and do not bet a week of work on one pool that is already 80% spent.

Step 2

Read the rules and grab the approved source videos

Every campaign has its own rules page. Before you generate a single clip, note down:

Then collect the YouTube URLs of the approved videos. Long-form is best: podcasts, interviews, livestreams and webinars have far more clippable moments per hour than a scripted 8-minute video.

Shortcut: paste the campaign rules into Claude and ask it to turn them into a short pre-post checklist. Then you check every clip against that list before submitting.

Step 3 · one-time setup

Connect Higgsfield to Claude

This is the account that does the cutting, captioning and formatting:

Create your Higgsfield account here Then come back and connect it to Claude

Higgsfield plugs into Claude through something called an MCP connector. You only do this once.

To confirm it worked, ask Claude: "Are the Higgsfield tools connected?" It should be able to see the clipping tools.

Step 4

Generate the clips

Now you just talk to Claude. Paste this, filling in the brackets:

Prompt · clipping job
Use the Higgsfield personal clipper on this video:
[paste the approved YouTube URL]

Settings:
- Number of clips: 10
- Aspect ratio: 9:16
- Subtitle font: Bebas Neue

Start the job, then check the status and give me the
download links for every clip once they are ready.

What you can change

Be patient with this one. The job runs on Higgsfield's side and can take 30 minutes or more. Start it, go do something else, then ask Claude to check the status.

Step 5

Review before you post

The AI picks the moments and burns in the subtitles. It does not know your campaign rules, and it does not know what is actually funny. Watch every clip before it goes out.

Reject any clip that: starts mid-sentence, has no payoff, has wrong subtitles on a name or a number, or runs shorter or longer than the campaign allows.

Then get your captions written in the same conversation:

Prompt · hooks & captions
For each clip you just made, write:
- A 3-to-6 word on-screen hook for the first second
- A caption for [TikTok / Reels / Shorts]
- 3 to 5 hashtags

Campaign rules to follow:
[paste the campaign rules here]

Flag any clip that might break those rules.

Step 6 · the payout

Post, submit, get paid

The honest math

A clip that does 100,000 views on a $1 per 1,000 campaign pays $100. That is the good case, and it is real. Here is the rest of the picture:

Three ways to get yourself banned

1. Clipping content you were not authorized to clip

The campaign tells you what you may use. Anything else is someone else's copyright, and platforms act on that faster than you would expect.

2. Posting the exact same clip everywhere with no transformation

Most campaigns require you to actually edit — hook, captions, framing. A raw re-upload is the easiest submission to reject.

3. Ignoring the AI rules

Some campaigns ban AI voiceovers and AI-generated footage outright. Whop has said publicly that it is after authentic content, not AI filler. Use AI to cut, caption and format faster — not to fake a person.

Quick checklist

You have the whole workflow. The only missing piece is the tool that cuts the clips:
